Welcome to On the Rocks!
At the On the Rocks School of Bartending we believe that bartenders enjoy a perfect mix of earning a lot of money, working flexible hours, and having fun. Bartending is an excellent part-time or summer job and it can also serve as a temporary position during a career change, a lucrative second job, a "recession proof" fall back plan during a shaky economy, or a way to earn some money quickly when a person relocates. Many people have made it a career as well. Our graduates have worked all over the United States and abroad, including fun places like cruise ships and resorts. Bartenders who are starting out can usually expect to earn between one hundred and two hundred dollars per shift. With a bit of experience, bartenders can make several hundred dollars each time they work. For many people bartending can always provide a living.
Our class will provide you with all the skills you will need to enter the world of bartending. We structure our two day program to focus on handling bottles and bar equipment, something we believe is crucial to the learning process. At half the cost of many longer bartending courses, On the Rocks should pay for itself in your first week or two of work. And with the current cost of gas, the inconvenience of commuting to a bartending school everyday for a week gets pricey. Less expensive classes can be found on the internet, but they lack the personal experience and instruction of our veteran bartenders and access to a real bar set-up. Through On the Rocks School of Bartending, find your way to fun, flexibility and financial freedom!
